Ah, to have tubes of gouache that open without the use of a crescent wrench.
In order to inaugurate my new Winsor and Newton paints, I had to clean off the multitude of layers (palimpsest, as my former Geography professor Ben Bennion would say) of the old gouache on the palette. Pretty!
Now, back to painting! I’ve got two going on at once right now, so I can let parts dry on one while working on the other and hopefully prevent myself from “over-fiddling” with either of them.
