New Painting – “Fracture”, Original Gouache on Paper

I am so pleased with how this turned out!


I drew the landscape shapes with masking fluid and then washed the purples and oranges and golds over the top of the lines. I then put one big sheet of wax paper over the wet paint and let it dry for 24 hours. I never know what the results will be and I love the way this turned out! I didn’t do anything to the colors, just filled in the rest of the paper with white paint and softened the edges a bit.
